Hill 145 was the highest point on Vimy Ridge, the most famous Canadian Battle in World War 1. On the morning of April 19th, 1917, against all odds, the Canadians captured it. Ensuring an eventual victory at Vimy.
To honour their sacrifice, Silversmith Brewing Co. created this limited release to coincide with Remembrance Day.
“We have been brewing this beer for many years and this year we decided it was important to us and shareholders to give back and support an initiative we strongly believe in,” said Josh Graham, President & CEO, Silversmith Brewing Company Limited.
Silversmith is proud to announce that we were able to donate 10% of proceeds, $825.60, to Veterans’ House Canada. This charity helps homeless veterans build a better future by providing permanent, affordable and supportive housing to Canadian veterans.
A special thank you to all who supported the sale of Hill 145.
